CORRECTIONS & CONTACT

Help keep the project record accurate.

Report a changed version, broken source, incorrect identity record, copyright concern, or privacy request. ModCheck does not accept Mod files by email.

Send a correction

Email contact@modcheck.org with the ModCheck page URL, the statement you believe is wrong, the corrected information, and a link to the project owner’s public evidence. We prioritise corrections that affect edition, author, Project ID, version, loader, file format, setup requirements, or source safety wording.

Report a source or project update

Include the public project URL, author name, Project ID where available, the date you observed the change, and a short explanation. Do not send direct download attachments. A report is reviewed against the publisher’s public listing before the site changes.

Privacy or removal request

Use the same address with “Privacy request” in the subject line. Include the relevant ModCheck URL and enough information for us to understand the request. See the Privacy Policy for the site’s current data practices.

What not to send

  • Mod files, executables, archives, API keys, passwords, or Minecraft account details;
  • links that require a login or private Discord access as the only evidence;
  • personal information that is not necessary to explain a correction.
